The tips were hard to hear but they made a lot of sense and helped me shift my perspective. Out of the 75 there are only one or two that I felt completely “not me” but I still gleaned from the perspective. I will definitely check out other books by this author.

I am not into hippidy dippity stuff and enjoy science but this book was very well written. I think it was very cool and had lots of great advice without too much unsupported evidence. The author did a great job at keeping it spiritual but still open to people of all religions or backgrounds. Loved it

Words cannot describe how amazing this book is. First off, the content itself of the book is incredible and the advice is very effective. Second, the tone in which this book was written is absolutely perfect. It feels like a casual, yet remarkable, conversation with a friend. Lastly, it was written in a way that was easy to understand and to apply the advice to my life. Marc uses great analogies and famous quotes to make the contents more relatable to a younger audience. I LOVE THIS BOOK.

An engaging book for women on dating and relationships. Helpful for current dating culture.

I am new to shadow work and I found this book extremely helpful and a great introduction into it. Excellent for women with past trauma along with those without it who want to work on their inner strength and spiritual growth.

The book was full of a lot of helpful information in the form of lists. I didn't feel any connection to the author as she did not include any personal experiences. I also would have appreciated more information about the sources and the origins of the terminology. However, this book has very thorough breakdowns of the information for those who are already familiar with the topic.

A good read overall

I am enjoying most of the information given in the books as I have already been working on meditation, shadow work, healing myself/inner child and exploring my feminine energy more. To be honest, though, I'm not terribly concerned about becoming a seductress or femme fatale, especially at my age. It may be fun to try/implement a few things with my partner, though.

Amazing this can literally change your life

To us women, she gives us so many tips and suggestions on how to become an attractive, sensual, erotic woman etc.a true "Femme fatale". I absolutely loved the book.

You can't know what you don't know until someone points it out! That's the case here. I didn't know that just by changing my energy that I could change my results in dating (or any relationship for that matter). After several relationship "misses", including two divorces, I am ready to change my approach and have it go differently. What I have learned so far (currently in chapter 3) is: 1. I don't have to change my appearance or my personality, 2. I can create any scenario that I desire, 3. There are three steps and seven shifts that lead to better dating experiences, and 4. It's ok to be picky and say no to anyone who doesn't meet me where I am. So empowering! I am already putting some of this into practice. Can't wait to read more and create the love of my dreams. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!

I really appreciate Alana's vulnerability and her tell it like it is writing style. This book is an excellent roadmap for creating meaningful connections with men using feminine energy. As a straight woman in my late 30s navigating the dating world after the end of a 10 plus year marriage, I found this book to be an absolute breath of fresh air. Her book not only provided practical techniques and powerful exercises, but also little-known rituals to fully embrace my shadow self and harness the power of the moon.

I’ve always struggled with loving myself and after barely reading the first few pages I began to start loving myself. As a codependent I found this book to work hand in hand with my CoDA book. I was merely 10 pages in and I had to order 2 more books for my best friend and my sponsor. I’ve tried a couple of psychological based books like this. They never really worked. I was looking for something to change how I approach life. This book will do it. It has interactive activities and gives you the space to ponder. You can follow the 30 days or go your own pace. I would recommend if you’re looking to switch things up this year.

Not too many books out there talking are between about the aspects of dark feminine energy. I find it being very thoughtful and very educational at the same time. By reading what Ida has to say about the dark feminine shadow it's something to Reverend not to be feared and I thoroughly enjoyed her message. Her book talks about how to enjoy yourself and embracing your dark side all things that are great. I'm looking forward to seeing any more great work so she comes up with she's definitely has a fan right here.

Being a single mother I felt powerless and defeated by men due to the abuse and them holding my past against me but now I have my power back 😍

I didn’t expect such results but this book does dig pretty deep. If you have a person who could help you with guidance about shadow work would be great but if not this book is a great source itself. I started reading about shadow work after finishing the book by Debbie Ford- Dark Side of Light Chasers, which was invaluable. I really think these books complement each other, especially considering that Dara Goldberg is a PhD while Debbie Ford did not have a formal psychology education, but a lot of real-world experience. Both books can help you achieve wholeness if you commit to it and ignore those parts that DO NOT resonate and focus on those that DO.I have not finished the workbook but already seeing progress in my emotional state.

As the new year entered I realized how tired I was of all the pain and frustration. I was so in tune with my light energy always putting everyone first, tending to others, constantly forgiving others only to be bit in the butt. I wanted a change and this book has definitely help to that road. It’s very beginner friendly and well informative but not overwhelming.

This book was amazing. I stopped and did the exercises, I self reflected, I tried the body language, and for the first time I was able to meditate just from the prompts in this book. Any woman in their 20s or 30s should seriously read this book. I am empowered.

Good communication advice with particular attention to the way men hear you and process information. Most of it was stuff I already do (and you probably do too if you have satisfying long term relationships) but a must read for girls who don't get why their boyfriends don't get them. As is customary with this author, the book comes with a sprinkling of unnecessary remarks about the value of maintaining old fashioned gender roles in romantic relationships. Luckily, the advice is still sound even if you are so bold as to consider yourself your partner's equal.

A lot of great points I have followed for a long time before you wrote this book! I felt like before reading this book that I Always feel better turning a negative to a positive or looking on the brighter side if everything and everyone. Everything now makes since you have to believe in your positive affirmations, in miracles they really do happen Most of my wishes have cone true due to faith and hope!! I am older than Alana McKenzie Page. A LOT older, in her mother's generation. As a woman in her 60's, I did not expect to find something applicable to me in this book. I was reading it more for my coaching clients. But I am learning. I was one of those people who got triggered by the term seduction. Seduction seemed manipulative and performance-oriented. It took me back to the days in the late 70s and the discos when saying hello to someone was tantamount to 'let's hook up.' Intentional and conscious use of feminine energy is a new concept for me, and with Alana's real and vulnerable, and approachable guidance, I feel safe to explore these ideas and will be putting them to use. Thanks, Alana, apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks!

This book is perfect for 2020 when so many of us are struggling with the state that Covid has left us and the world in. The book is a positive experience in each chapter and helped me feel more capable and emotionally sane. The quizzes are actually really fun and useful too! I recommend it for sure.

I found the advice in this book to be generally straight forward and practical. When reading this book, it's good to keep in mind that the advice applies to high quality loving men, not to abusive situations. It's stated in the book, of course, but could be forgotten if one is feeling defensive about a bad past relationship. Read the book with an open mind and heart. The only part I thought was vague was the section on silence. Using silence as a communication technique is a foreign concept to most people, so perhaps a book on this alone would be helpful. Unless its already instinctively a part of their communication style, women are likely to be confused and left wanting by this part. It could also be confused with ”the silent treatment,” which the book does say not to use, but I think that's the only relationship most people have with silence in communication.

Understanding v what Goddess you are is from psychological background of different types of women we are and can be interchangeable. I have read student of Jung books but this is a workbook plainly written for you to question yourself, encourage, eye opening to your soul with a little homework to go more than surface level.
